The
course of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Technics is
intended especially for students of production and environmental technologies
and students of production systems as an important and useful part of their
master studies due to direct contact with managing the data and processes used
in the product design, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service of a
product across its entire lifecycle. PLM manages products from the
beginning of their life, including development, manages products from the

maturity, to the end of life. PLM emerged in the early 21st Century as a
new paradigm for manufacturing companies. This is one of the most
important activities in any company that develops and supports
products. We consider it important that each graduate knows the
methodology, technics and aspects of product lifecycle management.
