The course Measurement of Technical Parameters in Production Technology is primarily intended for students of production technologies, students of production systems, and generally students of technical fields, as an important and useful part of higher education due to direct contact with measurements of various technical quantities of machines and equipment. In practice, graduates often encounter the need and requirement of measuring and measuring technical quantities, experimental verification, or determination of various parameters of technology, machine, or equipment. We consider it important that every graduate knows the correct methods of measuring technical quantities, knows the possibilities of how to measure individual quantities, and adopts the procedures of correct measurement and evaluation of measurements. In addition, this course gives a general overview of sensors and their application in production technology plants and an overview of the measuring of qualitative parameters after manufacturing (accuracy, surface roughness, surface hardness, residual stresses, etc.).
